This is kind of difficult to find, but you may be able to find this at your local mega mart under a more common japanese label: sweet rice flour, or mochiko flour. Contrary to the name, this flour is naturally gluten free as it is made from milling short rice into flour. This dough produces a very sticky cooked product and can be prepared by steaming, boiling, or baking. If you mix the sweet rice flour with some water to make a dough, and then make balls the size of marbles, you can make a simple mochi to put into a soup, or if steamed, can be
